Every year, we invite qualified indigent Nigerian Students to apply for funds to pay School Fees, Payment of West African Examination Council fees and settle expenses on Vocational training and skill acquisition exercises.
Who can Really Benefit?
What makes Ajijola-Iya Empowerment Foundation remarkable, is that one major criteria for sponsorship, is in being poor but brilliant. If your parents are rich, you cannot get our sponsorship.
Ajijola-Iya wants poor kids, youths, who are very brilliant but poor. We want their access to leadership roles in the society revealed through education and empowerment.
If you are poor but brilliant in a public school, Ajijola-Iya Empowerment Foundation will sponsor you. We believe poor brilliant kids should be given equal opportunities to become somebody in life, so that the future does not belong only to those born rich. It is about meeting the needs and challenges of the less privileged-child, anywhere, who is willing to be educated.
Many of the kids sponsored, previously hawked pepper, satchet water, fruits, etc. Many too were orphans. But we settle them wholeheartedly with our commitment to their ideals.
